  1. Emma E. Dains nee Rhodes (1882 - 1977) (Find A Grave #39193938) is difficult to track in the census since the last name is spelled Dane, Daines, and Dains. In 1920, Emma's husband, Quincy Adams Dains is recorded as "Ouais Dane".

At any rate, they appear to have been childless - so I don't know who Stevenson might have been.

  2. I searched for a George living in Chapman, Kansas, thinking his last name would begin with "H" and his wife's first name would begin with "M". The only couple I found were George C Harden and his wife Mary M Harden.

    Mary Magdaline Harden

Unfortunately, I've run out of time and was unable to determine how Mary and Emma knew each other.

  3. I stumbled across this while doing a search for my Dains relatives. Quince and Emma were my Great, Great, Great Aunt and Uncle. This is an amazing find, thanks for sharing!
