Friend Wilmer:--
Well, I received your very interesting letter. Am still having the best kind of a time. Can't be helped in N.Y. Was over to the "statue of Liberty" Sun. It is sure a wonder. Had a terrible fire Mon. morn right next to our block, 25 ft from my window. 5 people lost their lives. It was a terrible sight & I never want to witness anything like it again. Am too busy to write, but expect to come home next month. Steve.
Best Easter Wishes to you all
