ReplyDeleteThe 1910 US census (complete with lousy spelling) shows they had at least two children, Harold and daughter Frances.

This postcard appears to be send from daughter Frances to mother Frances.
Benjamin H. (Harold?) Spurling is mentioned in several newspapers and in a couple censuses as a "Mackarel Fisherman" -
